This presentation is part of a series highlighting faculty that have received teaching awards at UIS. This workshop will focus on teaching case studies and will explore the power of in class and online experiential education. Dr. Piatti-Crocker will discuss some of her strategies (e.g. simulations, group discussions, etc.) and explore how to connect theory to practice through applied learning. Experiential education is a powerful teaching tool in which students engage directly with their peers while the instructor serves as moderator.
