Diwali, or Dipawali, is India's biggest and most important holiday of the year. The festival gets its name from the row (avali) of clay lamps (deepa) that Indians light outside their homes to symbolize the inner light that protects from spiritual darkness. Diwali celebrates the light overcoming the dark. The light symbolizes knowledge and wisdom, while darkness is a symbol for all negative forces, such as wickedness, destruction, violence, lust, envy, injustice, greed, oppression and suffering. Households light dozens of little clay oil lamps, called divas, to symbolize the triumph of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.

Keeping the pandemic situation in mind, we are planning to organize the Diwali event online with lot of engagement games and discussion of celebrating diwali in various parts of India. There will be gifts and take away which will be given to the winners. The event will be complete
